One Year!

September 11 marked one year since Ryan and I married. Wow - it really flew by! We had some wedding cake about a week earlier, it still tasted pretty good too!

What did we do to celebrate you might ask. Pretty much "ran for the (opposite) hills." Ryan jetted off to Utah for 10 days with a buddy from school. They rappelled down huge canyons, rock-climbed, mountain-biked, and camped all over at various National parks out there. He had a blast and got some great pictures.

While he was sleeping in puddles in the desert, my mom, Greg and I headed to Hocking Hills for the annual Indian Run. My mom came down to Columbus earlier to spend a few days, we zumba-ed, salsa-ed and had a great time.

My mom placed 3rd for overall women, and first in her age group. Way to go, Mom! When she wasn't mopping the floor with the competition, we zip-lined, took a lampworking class to make some glass beads, and had "trial" horseback ride.

Unfortunately 45 minutes on a hours did me in for about 2 hours of itching and sneezing afterwards, even on Zyrtec-D! Looks like no riding in Ecuador, which really sucks. But hey, at least we are going to Ecuador, right?

We were also treated with in0cabin massages and some really great food while we were there. Grouse Nest, Inn at Cedar Falls, and Glen Laurel really know how to serve some delicious food.

I'll try to add more later!
