Jump in the Line...

Oh my poor neglected blog. I am here! I've been spending my days working, studying, trying to keep the apartment clean, and trying to remember what I'm supposed to me making for dinner. Ryan is studying a lot this quarter, and we've been warned that second quarter is the worst.

On Friday I get to be Ryan's first clinic patient, so I'm pretty excited about that. I'm already thinking up wisecracks for when the instructor comes by to check Ry's work.

I'm looking forward to my cousin Jen coming to visit next weekend, and seeing my grandma play with her band down here in Columbus at Tam Fest. I'll be going home after than and I'm excited to Zumba with my mom!

Oh - and tomorrow I should have some professional wedding pics to share! Yipee!

A month of Marriage

It's been a while since I've posted, but during that time our month-iversary came and went. I must say, things have been pretty normal around here. Our professional pictures will be read on the 27th (yipeeeee!) and I will be taking the state boards for registered nursing at the beginning of November. Ryan has been studying away this quarter, working on dentures and learning about orthodontics. I'm looking forward to being his patient at school on the 29th.

Veitnam planning has taken off, all thats left is a hotel in Hoi An and Ho Chi Mihn city, and a flight to Con Dao. I'll update more next week with some professional pictures.

Our mini-moon...

We headed home to Columbus on Tuesday with some wedding cake, cookies, and memories to keep us talking about the wedding all the way home. We spent Tuesday and Wednesday unpacking and depositing some wedding gifts, then it was time to pack for our mini-moon!

Every fall, my Mom runs (wins) the Hocking Hills Indian Run. She does the 5k, and her and Greg usually make a weekend out of it. This year they offered to put up Ryan and I in the the spare room of the cottage they were renting. We ended up making a mini-honeymoon out of it.

Here are a few pictures from the weekend. We played board games, we roasted marshmallows, canoed twice, hiked, ate wedding leftovers, and enjoyed the Indian Run. Thanks Mom and Greg for having us, and making us great bacon and eggs every morning!
