I love the Golden Girls. There is a picture of me as a 6 or 7 year old laying on my grandma's bed watching a black and white tv...if you look closely you can see Dorothy Zbornak opening the door for Stan.
Somehow the show takes me to a happy place. I just love Blanche and I love Sophia too...all four characters are wonderful. I like seeing their various boyfriends, weekend trips, parties, dances, schemes, etc. I like their outfits; Blanche and Rose running around in heels, Dorothy in flats.
Thanks to my mom I have the whole series on DVD. Right now I'm watching the bowling competition episode :)
