The Art of the Possible

Right now I'm watching a morning show with my coffee and oatmeal.  Irish Oatmeal - which I've just discovered I'm not a big fan of.  Granted, its been sitting in our cabinet for about a year, it had a funky taste to it, and took forever to cook.

Ryan is in Utah getting ready for interview #2 for a General Practice Residency.  His first interview was yesterday at the Salt Lake City VA, and tomorrow is the University of Utah.  We wish him luck!  He's been having a a ball at the outdoor stores, running in the mountains, really right up his alley. I pick him up fromt e airport tomorrow night.  It's exciting to think that if these interviews go well, we might be moving to Salt Lake in about 7 months!

I have a dance lesson at 3 and I'm even more excited since I watched dancing with the stars last night.  MP and I have been working on a samba for me.  Its lots of fun, but its tough.  I'm afraid I dance more like Pam Anderson and less like Sabrina Bryan (for those that don't watch dwts, thats not a good thing).

I remember when I first took ballroom lessons over a year ago, and I tried to act like I didn't watch the show because I thought it was like asking healthcare workers if they like ER.

Anyway, back to the title of this post.  These negative ads are getting out of control.  It's making me dislike all of the candidates.  Mandel is attacking Brown for giving himself raises and not showing up to work, and Brown is attacking Mandel for giving tens of thousands of our tax dollars to his frat brothers.  I don't know.  Looking forward to election season being over!

Last weekend was the annual Hocking Hills trip - Mom, Greg, and I stayed in a cottage in the park.  Poor Ryan once again had to miss out.  Lots of good food and pretty scenery (and a great massage!).  The highlight was all of us running the Indian Run 5k.  We all finished with pretty good times and it was a nice day for the run.  The cabin was cozy with the fire place lit and bacon frying in the morning.  Good times :)
